Slick won a Scotsman Fringe First, and a CATS Award for Best Technical Presentation, where it was also nominated for Best Design.

Slick premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2008. It featured in that year's Scotland Live! showcase and was revived for the Cork Midsummer Festival 2009. It was revived again for a 2013 UK tour including Theatre Clwyd's Celtic Festival.
