The Static won the 2012 Scottish Arts Club Award, and was a 2012 Three Weeks Editor Awards winner. Following its initial Edinburgh Festival run it toured the UK, and was revived for 2013's Cultura Inglesa Festival in Brazil, and the Celtic Festival at Theatre Clwyd.
